In our sorrow,

We say that your day came too soon.

We all know that the Lord has a plan,

That we will never understand.

Your enthusiasm in life,

Inspired everyone that you met.

One night you challenged us,

“Boys, you have to be dedicated!”

Your challenge is now our soul,

“We will be dedicated” is now our cry!

While you watch from above,

Please grant us two requests.

When you hear our fire bell ring,

Rush to St. Florian and be by his side.

And if St. Peter should call our name,

Rush down to the Pearly Gates.

Ricky, we wish to see you first,

Because we know what you will say.

“Hallelujah!"
